has made a name in the UAE market as a reliable and dependable
EPC Contractor for Desalination and Water Projects. The
Division is geared up to install Reverse Osmosis (Brackish
and Sea Water) and Thermal Vapour Compression MED (TVC-MED)
plants of medium capacity. The division is also capable
to undertake Pump Houses for Sea Water intake and Potable
water.
ETA-PPD has successfully executed a Turnkey Project
of 3 Million Gallons per day Brackish Water Reverse
Osmosis Desalination Plant at Ajman for Ministry of
Electricity and Water, U.A.E.
ETA Power Projects Division successfully executed a
Turnkey Project for FEWA, UAE, for Design, Supply, Installation,
Testing & Commissioning of a total 10.5 Million
Gallons per day (7 Nos. of 1.5 MIGD Capacity) Desalination
Plants of Multi Effect Distillation (MED) type at Ras
Al Khaimah, Fujairah & Ajman.
These Desalination Projects involved Design & Supply
of 5 Nos. HRSGs (80T/hr), 3 Nos Auxiliary Boilers (35T/hr)
and Instrumentation & state of art Distributed Control
system. The works also involved modification to the
existing 5 Nos. GTs (Fr. 6 m/c) to connect HRSGs and
other associated mechanical controls.
The division has completed the Middle East’s
first SCADA system for Water Network for Dubai Electricity
& Water Authority (DEWA). The system permits identification
of leakage and pressure control in the Water Network
from the central control room at DEWA’s Head Office.
