15 years and above in execution
of HV projects up to 220kV level (indoor / outdoor
substations) liaising with Design Dept for Electrical,
Mechanical & Civil designs, liaising with Clients
/ Consultants, other Statutory Bodies, etc. Should
be capable of ensuring project quality, adhering
to safety requirements, etc.
Candidate should have knowledge / experience in
project planning and monitoring using MS projects.
Candidates possessing additional qualifications
such as PMP certification with suitable experience
in the above field would be given preference.
Candidates should be dynamic and self motivated
and should be independent in operations. |
| Site Manager |
B.E. (Electrical / Electronics) |
8 to 10 years in execution
of HV projects up to 220kV level (indoor / outdoor
substations), assisting the Project Manager, liaising
with Client and Consultants at site and other
Government Departments. Should be able to handle
the site activities independently. Should be extremely
competent in allocation / delegation of works
to subcontractors / site team members. Knowledge
in design, testing and commissioning would be
given preference. |
| Testing and Commissioning
Engineer |
B.E. (Electrical / Electronics) |
8 to 15 years experience in
testing and commissioning of various equipment
in EHV Substations up to 220kV level. Should be
able to deal with Clients, handle sophisticated
microprocessor based test instruments such as
a Freja, Omicron, CT400, Pulsar, etc. Should have
experience in overall scheme checking and capable
of commissioning the substations independently.
Candidates with 12 to 15 years experience must
have 2 years experience as Lead Testing &
Commissioning Engineer. |
| Design Engineer |
BE (Electrical / Electronics) |
8 to 10 years experience in
design, techno-commercial evaluation, engineering
of substations layouts, coordination of various
building services and electrical equipment installation
with civil works design. Design of earthing systems,
LVAC and DC systems, cable sizing calculation,
lighting and small power system. Knowledge of
specification, standards and design requirements
of HV / MV switchgear, transformers, capacitor
banks, cables. |
| Design Assistant |
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics
Engg. |
5 years experience in preparation
of drawing in AutoCAD 2000 for substations up
to 220kV level. Candidates with adequate knowledge
in equipment layout, electrical schemes (control
and protection) will be preferred. |
| Contracts Manager |
B.E. (Electrical / Electronics) |
10 to 12 years. Will be responsible
to manage all the commercial aspects, order finalization
with various equipment manufacturers/sub-contractors,
negotiating technically as well as commercially.
He will also be responsible for the provision
of contractual reviews and comment on documents
received from Clients / Consultants, evaluation
and submission of claims and the final settlement
and close out of contracts, adhering to the company
procedures.
Should be fully conversant with foreign currencies,
L/C establishments, cash flow assessment/fund
management, etc.
Candidates having knowledge in preliminary designing
along with site experience would be given preference.

Pilot wire and Fibre optic cable based telecommunication

RTU, SCADA, Modems
PCM MUX optical line terminal equipment, communication
over fibre optic cable and OPGW
Fault monitoring system
LVAC and DC systems
Substation control and monitoring system
Should have knowledge of EHV substation equipment
(GIS, Transformers, capacitor banks, reactors,
etc.)
Should have sound knowledge of basic concepts
as well as latest technology in use with utilities.
Should be conversant with the IEC and other international
standards.
